Mission
ReCAD empowers African researchers with the tools they need to achieve their full potential and drive sustainable development. ReCAD aims to break down knowledge barriers by making research accessible to African scholars, practitioners, and policymakers.
Purpose & Areas of Focus
ReCAD operates on a non-profit basis, fostering academic exchange between national and international researchers, practitioners, and policymakers on various socioeconomic and environmental issues across Africa. This collaboration aims to address development challenges for Africa’s sustainability.

Objectives
Research Dissemination
ReCAD makes research outputs readily available to a wide audience, including scholars, practitioners, and policymakers. This includes fostering scientific research, training, academic coaching and assistance, and publishing scientific outputs in the Association’s journal and website.
Capacity Building
ReCAD supports researchers through capacity building workshops, research seminars, and educational assistance for underprivileged children, including support for the education of girls.
Public Awareness
ReCAD promotes public opinion and social awareness on issues arising from scientific research findings. ReCAD is directly responsible for managing research activities in its designated areas of focus.
Social Welfare
ReCAD encourages and provides educational and social-welfare assistance to disabled students, socially underprivileged and poor female youths, refugees, and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Instrumental Activities
Internship Opportunities
ReCAD provides internship opportunities to young researchers and practitioners in its areas of expertise.
Scientific Writing & Publishing
ReCAD promotes initiatives aimed at enhancing and training the knowledge and skills of academics and professionals involved in helping young researchers with scientific writing and publishing.
Policy awareness and advocacy:
Recad disseminates policies and advocates for their implementation at public and private entities.
