Mr. Kum Rene Ebua
Researcher
A final year Doctorate student, Member of ReCAD upon its creation.
I am constantly fascinated by the intertwined relationship between efficiency, effectiveness impact, sustainability, and consumer demands within the agricultural system. My work is based on the complex challenges faced by agribusinesses, from optimizing supply chains to navigating volatile markets and integrating innovations. I am also interested to ameliorate the capacities of actors in the agricultural value chains especially the farmers. While maximizing yields and profitability are crucial, I am equally driven by finding solutions that minimize environmental impact and ensure food security, health security, economic security, gender status, water/shelter and sanitation, all of which contribute to enhancing a healthy livelihood in a growing global population. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, my research aims to equip agribusinesses with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive in this ever-evolving landscape.
